Sex & Intimacy
As a culture, we struggle to talk about sex and intimacy in healthy ways. This leads to confusion, shame, pain, and a plethora of other challenges when exploring sex and intimacy with partners and with yourself. Sex should be fun and intimacy can be incredibly rewarding, but the pathway to achieving that reality can be murky at best.
Perhaps you’re experiencing mismatched desire or libido with a partner. Maybe your sexual behaviors or desires feel problematic or shameful. Or you and your partner just can’t seem to feel intimate with each other, sexually or otherwise. It’s possible you’re hoping to enhance your sexual satisfaction or feelings of intimacy. No matter your struggle, you’ll find a non-judgmental space to explore and grow here.
I approach sex and intimacy with an open mind in my work with clients. There’s very rarely a “right” way for sex and intimacy to look across the board. Let’s work together to find out what feels best for you and for your relationships. You’ll be able to explore getting in touch with your sexual self – no matter what that looks like. We can investigate communication across your relationships, work through psychological barriers in engaging in sex or avoidance of intimacy, help you reconnect with what pleasure means for you as an individual and within your relationships, and almost anything else that you’re experiencing in these parts of your life.
